Inspired by The Million Dollar Homepage, but with true ownership: you can redraw your pixels anytime, update your link, and transfer your tile freely.
The Canvas
The mural is a large pixel canvas divided into tiles. Each tile is 16×16 pixels. The full canvas is rendered in 4K resolution, so every tile is crisp and visible.
How it works
Claim — connect your wallet, pick any unclaimed tile on the mural, confirm the transaction. The tile is assigned to you.
Draw — open the pixel editor, paint your 16×16 tile, save. Your artwork appears on the shared canvas immediately.
Link — every tile holds a URL. Click any tile to follow its link. The page title is fetched and shown on hover where available.
Try before you claim
Any unclaimed tile can be drawn on for free — no wallet needed. Open Tiles and click any free tile to start painting immediately.
A free-tile drawing is public on the mural for up to 24 hours and can't hold a link. Starting one also starts a cooldown of 30 minutes, so you won't be able to start another free tile until it passes. For the first 20 minutes only you can redraw it; after that anyone can paint over it. Buying the tile at any time replaces the drawing with a permanent one and adds the usual ownership rights (redraw anytime, add a link, transfer it).
Limits keep it fair: up to 3 free tiles per rolling 24 hours, and up to 3 active at a time. Redrawing a tile you're already holding never counts against these — only starting a new one does.
Already connected a wallet? Same rules apply — you're not required to buy first, and connecting doesn't unlock extra free slots.

Pricing
Base price is 1 ETH per 1,000 pixels. Each tile is 16×16 = 256 pixels, so one tile costs 0.256 ETH at full price.
Early adopters pay less — the price scales with how many pixels have already been painted:

Neighbor discount
Already own tiles on the mural? Buying a tile adjacent to one you own gives you a discount:

Build a cluster — the more you expand it, the cheaper each new tile gets.
Ownership
Each claimed tile is linked to a unique on-chain record. Only its holder can update it. Content and metadata are stored in a distributed network.
The Living Canvas
Token #0 represents the entire mural. Its image updates automatically every time any tile is edited — a living snapshot of the whole canvas, freely transferable.
